Filming female escorts is an unimaginable joy
Privacy and anonymity are essential for both providers and clients in the sex industry and represent one of the highest levels of trust that a partnership can build. But sometimes secrets get out in the open, and earlier this year, the identity of an escort caused quite a stir.
Lauren, a freshman at Duke University, started working as an escort to help pay for her studies without putting a financial burden on her family. The media tried to portray her decision as daring, but Lauren brushed it off, explaining that her experience with escorts was “supportive, exciting, thrilling, and encouraging.”
Lauren’s identity was exposed when a classmate from Duke University followed her Twitter account. This information spread quickly across the university campus, attracting media attention and depriving them of privacy. However, rather than hiding from the public eye (something that would be impossible in the modern era), Lauren decided to use it to her advantage and support other female escorts.
The Duke University freshman clearly stated that her decision to work as a female escort belongs to the feminist debate. All her acts were consensual and completely legal. While Lauren acknowledges that not all women have the same positive experience in the industry, she believes it is time to consider this path a legitimate career. Only then will rules and regulations be introduced, she says.
When asked what she will do when looking for work in the future, Lauren replied, “Anyway, I don’t want to work for someone who discriminates against female escorts.” Even now, despite her identity as a female escort being fully public, Lauren wants to continue working in the industry.
“For me, filming female escorts is an unimaginable joy. When I finish a scene, I know I’ve done it and done my day’s work honestly. “This is my artistic outlet. My love, my happiness, and my home,” she says. Many escorts believe the same about their chosen path. Abuse exists in every industry, but it shouldn’t make you question the legitimacy of the business.
